we only use apples from Gloucestershire - it’s our come county, so food miles are low
we only use hand-picked apples, to make sure they are in tip-top condition and ripe
we only use unsprayed apples; no fertilisers, no herbicides, no pesticides, no insecticides, no -cides at all
we add nothing to our apple juice, no colours, no flavours, no preservatives, no emulsifiers, no additives at all
we press ripe, freshly picked apples in the morning, bottle and pasteurise the juice in the afternoon.
Your own apple juice?
If you’ve more apple than you know what to do with, and already have a freezer full of apple tarts, apple crumbles and apple sauce, then we can turn surplus fruit into your own batch of juice, made only with your own fruit.
You’ll need a minimum quantity of 100 kgs - that’s about 5 or 6 full sacks - which is enough for one pressing on our rack and cloth press and this will produce approximately 60 litres of juice or 80 x 750ml bottles … and of course, we can accept more than 100kgs, if you’ve more apples and would like more juice.
